J SVCH Classic Dream’s Silver Super Sonic, aka Sigge

Sigge is the first Weimaraner that we got together and he moved into the house in the beginning of 2003. He was properly ”trained” by our old Golden Retriever from day one and may perhaps that is why Sigge rather walks away than pick a fight when challenged by another dog…

He is a fantastic hunting dog since he is very reliable when he finds for example the birds, but at the same time he is very eager to listen to what we want him to do. He has, almost like the retrievers, a very big ”will to please”.

We had big expectations in 2006 of what Sigge would accomplish on the fieldtrials but unfortunately he got very ill from an infected tick and it was really close hat we lost him forever. However he recovered even though it took almost a year.

In the beginning of 2007 he got his first puppies with LP I LP II NORDJV-03 SVCH Yellow Eye’s Wippsan. Ten healhy puppies that will be very interesting to watch grow up.

This season we haven’t had time to go to as many field trials that we usually do, but Sigge got a 1st price on the annual Club Championship as one of only three dogs out of 23 that got a price that weekend. The Championship is made as an undevided test which means that the dogs has to do the retrieving test on the first day in order to be allowed to start at the field trial the second day. We are very proud to say that Sigge did such a good job which means that next season we will start him in the elite class.

In the end of 2007 he mated SVCH Kilesands Java a very nice female and we are really looking forward to those puppies!

Some facts about Sigge

Sigge is a male with a lot of enginge and a nice temperament. He loves to work together with us and is very eager to please. He is a rather sharp dog and has no problems with retrieving fox, badger or wild cats. Several of his littermates are qualified on hunting and/or tracking tests.

Sigges father is a well-qualified hunting dog named Arto von Nollenwald and his mother is AustCH JWW-98 SV-99 NORDV-00 FINV-01 FINV-02 Feldjaeger All The Rage, an australian import.
